General Terms and Conditions of Reservation – Hotel Chambord Reservations and Stays
  • Information and rates are available at the reception and on www.hotel-chambord.be.

  • Rooms are available from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12:00 p.m. on the day of departure.

  • Reservations must be confirmed in writing (email or letter).

  • Without a guarantee or an indicated arrival time, individual reservations are only held until 6:00 p.m. on the day of arrival.

  • Early departures or no-shows will be charged for the entire reserved stay.

  • A room may not accommodate more persons than its designated capacity.

    • Extra person: €20 per night per room.

    • Baby cot (0–2 years): free of charge, subject to availability (maximum 1 per room).

Cancellations
  • Individual reservations: free cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival. After this time, 1 night will be charged.

  • Groups and seminars: cancellation fees according to the date of cancellation:

    • 45 to 21 days before arrival: 0 %

    • 20 to 15 days before arrival: 50 %

    • 14 to 0 days before arrival: 100 %

Guarantee and Prepayment
  • A valid credit card may be required as a guarantee (covering accommodation, extras, city tax, and possible damages).

  • The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize the amount of the first night, even prior to the guest’s arrival.

  • Without a credit card, full prepayment and a deposit of €500 are required upon arrival, as well as immediate settlement of consumed services.

  • In case of damage or theft, the deposit may be retained, and additional compensation may be claimed.

Rates and Payments
  • Rates are charged per room, per night.

  • Breakfast is charged at €17 per person per day.

  • Payment methods accepted: cash (maximum €1,000), debit card (Maestro), and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, CB).

  • Personal checks and value vouchers are not accepted.

  • Group invoices must be settled before arrival.

  • Any late payment will automatically result in a penalty fee of 15% (minimum €50) and interest at 10% per year, calculated from the invoice date.

Applicable Law

All disputes are subject to Belgian law. The courts of Brussels have exclusive jurisdiction.
